On the website www.ppcmedia.eu (hereinafter referred to as: website) owned by the company, PPC Media Online Marketing Limited Liability Company (headquarters and premises: H-1117 Budapest, 19/b Prielle Kornélia street, 1 ground floor, registered company number: 01-09-347113, registered by the company registry of Budakörnyék court, represented by: Attila Somlóvári executive director) – hereinafter referred to as: PPC Media LLC., process the data of the visitors and the ones registered on the websites (furthermore: User). Regarding the processing of data PPC Media LLC. hereby informs users about personal data processed by the company on the website, about their principles and practices followed regarding personal data management and the method and opportunities of practicing users’ rights.

The data manager is committed towards the protection of OUR clients’ personal data, and considers that respecting the informational right to self-determination of OUR clients is particularly important, so the recorded personal data are handled confidentially, in accordance with the data protection legislation and GDPR, according to the present privacy policy.

THE AIM OF DATA PROCESSING

The aim of data processing related to visiting the Website for PPC Media LLC. is to capture visitor data during the visit in order to control the operation of services, ensure personalized service and prevent misuses.

LEGAL BASE OF DATA PROCESSING

Data processing by PPC Media LLC. is based on GDPR’s Article 6. paragraph (1) point f) and
paragraph § (3) 13/A. of the E-commerce law – considering that PPC Media LLC. have a legitimate interest in the secure operation of their website.

Data processing by PPC Media LLC. – according to GDPR’s Article 6. paragraph (1) point b) – is based on the voluntary consent of Users and enabling legislation.

In case of data processing based on voluntary consent, the Users can withdraw this consent at any stage of data processing.

PPC Media LLC. does not collect data about to belonging to national or ethnic minority, political opinion or politics, religious or other ideological belief, representational organizational membership, health state, addiction, sexual life or previous criminal record or other special personal data (hereinafter: Special Data). Should PPC Media LLC. find out that any of our users have uploaded special data defined above to their system, they will immediately delete them. PPC Media LLC. reserves the right to also delete the registration of the user uploading special data for the infringement of existing legislation.

PPC Media LLC. does not check the specified personal data. only the person specifying can be held liable For the compliance of the specified data. When specifying their e-mail address, the User also takes responsibility for exclusively using the service from the given e-mail address.

The period of data processing is 24 months from the registration on the Website.

THE AIM OF DATA PROCESSING

The aim of data processing is to inform User about the latest professional news, articles and blog articles published by PPC Media LLC. PPC Media LLC. does not forward the processed data to third parties or business corporations for the purpose of sending advertisements or other activities.

The legal base of data processing according to the Info law’s § 5. paragraph (1) point a) and GDPR’s Article 6. paragraph (1) point b) IS the User’s consent.

While subscribing to sending out blog notifications the User mandatorily has to specify the following personal data:

• first name,
• e-mail address.

PERIOD OF DATA PROCESSING

Data processing ends with unsubscribing from the blog notification.

PPC Media LLC. does not use and must not use the specified personal data for any purposes different from the above. Releasing personal data to third parties is possible exclusively – should the Law not specify otherwise – in case of the preliminary, expressed consent of the User.

DATA SECURITY

PPC Media LLC. do take every necessary step to ensure the security of personal data supplied by the Users both during the network communication and storage and safekeeping of data. The IT systems and other data archives of PPC Media LLC. can be found at our headquarters, premises and data processors.

RIGHTS OF THE USERS

1. During the period of data processing the Users are entitled to
   • various rights concerning information and access to data,
   • rights of rectification,
   • rights to data deletion,
   • right to restriction of processing,
   • right to data portability,
   • right to object and
   • the right that automated decision making including profile creation would not be expanded to them.
2. During the period of data processing the user can gain information from PPC Media LLC. about processing their personal data. PPC Media LLC. informs User about the data processed, the aim of data processing, its legal base, period, furthermore – if forwarding data has also happened – about who and for what purpose received the data; and if the data do not come from the User, all available pieces of information about their source within the shortest timespan from handing in the request, but latest within 30 days in a written, clear form.
3. Within the period of data processing Users can ask PPC Media LLC. to correct their personal data. PPC Media LLC. has to fulfill the request within 30 days.
   1. Users can ask for the deletion of their personal data when:
      • personal data are not needed anYmore for the purpose why they were collected or processes in any other way;
      • Users withdraw their voluntary consent constituting the base for data processing and data processing has no legal base;
      • Users object against data processing and there is no legitimate priority right for data processing;
      • personal data have been handled illegally;
      • for the fulfillment of legal obligations prescribed in the legislation related to data processor personal data have to be deleted;
      • gathering personal data happened directly related to offering services in relation with information society to children.
   2. If the reason for deletion prevails, PPC Media LLC. is obliged to fulfill the obligation latest within 15 days. The right of deletion does not cover particularly when PPC Media LLC. is obliged by the law for the continued storage of data, not even the case when in accordance with the Info Law’s 6. § paragraph (5) PPC Media LLC. are authorized for further personal data processing (for example related to invoicing).
   3. As per the request of the User PPC Media LLC. can restrict data processing if one of the following conditions is fulfilled:
      • User challenges the accuracy of personal data, in this case the restriction applies for the time frame needed to control personal data;
      • data processing is illegal and User objects to the deletion of data, requesting the restriction of their usage instead;
      • the data processor does not require personal data for the purpose of data processing any more, but User requires them for submission, validation or protection of legal claims; or
      • User objects against data processing; in this case the restriction applies to the period until it has not been declared that the legitimate reasons of the data processor take precedence over the User’s legitimate reasons.
   4. If data processing is restricted, personal data can be processed only with the User’s consent, EXcept for storage, or in order to submit, validate or protect legal claims or for the sake of protecting another natural or legal person’s rights, or for the important public interest of the Union or any member state.
   5. The User is entitled to receive the personal data concerning them, provided by them to the data processor, in a format used in a wide range, readable by machine and to forward these data to another data processor, if data processing is based on their voluntary consent or a contract, and happens in an automated way. PPC Media LLC. reserves the right to claim reasonable costs incurred from the User.
   6. The User can object to processing their personal data,
      • for reasons related to their own situation, if processing and forwarding of personal data is necessary exclusively for fulfilling legal obligations concerning PPC Media LLC., or pursuit of legitimate interest of PPC Media LLC. or a third party – except if related to these interests the user’s interests, which make the protection of personal data necessary, take precedence, -;
      • if personal data processing happens for the sake of direct selling, including profile creation, and if it aims direct selling;
      • for reasons related to their own personal situation, if processing personal data – without the user’s consent – happens for a statistical purpose.
   7. PPC Media LLC. examines the objection within the shortest possible time from submitting the request, but latest within 30 days, makes a decision whether the request is justified, and informs the User about the decision in a written form. If PPC Media LLC. does not fulfill the User’s request for correction, locking or deletion within 30 days after the request is received, the company will inform them about the factual and legal reasons for rejecting their request for correction, sealing or deletion in a written form,or with the User’s consent by electronic means.

REMEDY

Users can exercise their rights via a complaint submitted to the National Data Protection and Freedom of Information Authority (1125 Budapest, 22/c. Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor) based on the Info Law, GDPR and the Civil Code, or in front of the competent Court.

OTHER PROVISIONS

PPC Media LLC. reserves the right to unilaterally modify the present Privacy Policy, with prior notification sent to the Users. After the modification enters into force, Users accept the content of the modified Privacy Policy by using the service, by implication.
